Loafers, moccasins and driving shoes in Soft KID suede, aniline lamb Nappa and oily aniline cow leather, lined in lambskin, memory foam over latex underfoot, supple enough to fold. Hand-braided, hand-scuffed, hand-shaded, gilded — and a few on a heel. Flat or raised, they carry a working day and the evening after it. Leathers from Gold-rated LWG tanneries. A loafer is bought for how it looks and kept for how it wears. The seam across the vamp is where it goes wrong - stitched tight it never gives, stitched loose it bags by the second season.

Ours are hand-lasted in Soft KID suede, aniline lamb Nappa and oily aniline cow leather that takes a scuff and keeps it. Lambskin lining, four millimetres of memory foam over three of latex, and a sole supple enough to fold in the hand. Flat, or on a block of forty to sixty millimetres for the days that want a little more.
